Rocky's last day of CNA class is tomorrow. We are both excited to be able to see each other more often and for the new chapter in Rocky's life and ours as a married couple.
This morning Rocky woke up and had a stomach bug. He is very sick and still had to go to class. I felt so bad, but he will be done tomorrow. His graduation is Saturday and I'm sooooo excited to see him as he gets his certificate. I'm even more excited that in a few years he will have his RN. He is on the right path and grateful for his sacrifices so we can have a secure and happy life.
I'm still in horrible pain, it is getting to be hard to hold a pencil or pen and type. I just wish I could have the pain go away. Oh well, I just got to try to get thru this trial.

Frustration
So, I started having a pain in my right arm the beginning of January. My arm had started going numb and my hand. It started hurting and bothering me I went to Urgent care. The doctor told me I had Neuropathy and gave me some drugs and said that if it didn't go away or get better see my primary care doctor. A week came and went and it was getting worse. I couldn't handle the pain. The only thing that helps a little bit is ice.
I finally got in to see my doctor a few weeks later and I have Ulnar Neuropathy in both of my arms. It is very painful. She gave me a pain killer for my nerves and said it will help for a little bit, but the stuff I need the insurance won't pay for so she was sending me to a Neurologist. I have to wait until March to see the Neurologist and my pain is getting worse. Thank goodness I have a wonderful husband that helps me clean, get dressed, make dinner and my lunches. He is an amazing man. I just wish I could figure out how to relieve the pain. I'm still working and it is hard taking care of 15 kids and having two arms in pain, but I have good kids who listen most of the time and would rather help me by doing stuff for me. I love having kids that like to help teachers. :)
I'm so grateful for a loving husband and all that he does for me. He works and goes to school and then helps me too. He is a blessing in my life. I LOVE YOU ROCKY!

Valentine's and More
Rocky and I had an awesome Valentine's Day. We went to Claim Jumper Saturday night and had so much fun. We came home had some yummy fondue and watched Couples Retreat. Which is way funny. Sunday morning I woke up to Rocky making me a yummy breakfast. We had such a wonderful weekend together. He is such a wonderful man. I'm a very lucky woman to have him.
Rocky took his final exam in his nursing class and got 99%!!! I'm so proud of him. He is doing so great is school!! He started clinical Saturday and loved it. It makes me so happy to know he likes it. He deserves to do something that brings him joy.

A New Chapter in Our Life...
I'm sitting here at six in the morning looking for something to watch and just said goodbye to Rocky. It's Rocky's first time doing clinical today and I'm so excited. He aced his final and is third in his class. I'm so proud of him. He is doing so awesome in nursing school and should be a CNA very soon. We are excited for this chapter in our life. Rocky working as a CNA and me as a Head Start Teacher. Rocky will have a short rest and then back to school he goes. I've been promoted to a Mentor Teacher and I'm excited. I have more responsibility, but it's good experience.
